Aikido achieves AWS Security Competency for Application Security

AWS recognizes Aikido's expertise in securing applications from code to cloud to runtime

GHENT, Belgium, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aikido Security, the unified security platform for code, cloud, and runtime, today announced it has achieved AWS Security Competency status in the Application Security category.

It recognizes Aikido's technical expertise and track record in helping customers secure applications that are built and run on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Achieving this competency required AWS to independently validate Aikido's application security capabilities and confirm customers can secure their workloads on AWS infrastructure.

Aikido integrates directly with AWS environments and services including Amazon EC2, Amazon ECR, AWS Lambda, and AWS CloudFormation, giving teams visibility from development through production.

Building on Aikido's AWS partnership

The Security Competency builds on Aikido's existing relationship with AWS. Aikido is an AWS Partner Network member, an AWS Qualified Software vendor, available through AWS Marketplace, and AWS’s AI Code Editor Kiro's first go-to-market security partner.

Achieving the AWS Security Competency is the latest step in that work: it gives AWS customers independent confirmation that Aikido meets AWS's bar for application security.
